If your problem is not listed here in the FAQ or anywhere else, it is very likely that you can solve it by following the step-by-step instructions below. Remember not to skip any steps!1. Open G HUB: Go to settings and uncheck the option "Enable Automatic Updates".2. Completely remove G HUB: use the free application (the portable version works fine) of Revo Uninstaller in Advanced Mode > Select Logitech G HUB from the list and click Uninstall.Remember to click "Select All" and "Delete" at every possible step.3. Clean temporary files:- Press "Win + R" or search for "Run" in the Start menu.- Type "%temp%" (without quotes) and delete as many files as possible.- Restart your computer (do not skip this step).4. After restarting: Open the "%temp%" folder again and delete any remaining files possible.5. Install G HUB directly from the Logitech website. If you continue having problems with the latest version and your mouse is not a GPRO model or newer, use this official, yet older and more stable version of GHUB..6. Disable automatic updates again: Repeat step 1.7. Always run GHUB with administrator privileges. To automate this process:Right-click the G HUB icon on your desktop or taskbar and click Properties.Go to the Compatibility tab and check the box "Run this program as administrator". After that, click Apply.
Check if the "On-board Memory" mode is enabled (On the GHUB Home screen, on the illustrative image of your mouse, click the memory icon in the lower right corner of the window). You will not be able to use macros if this option is turned on.
Check if Caps Lock is enabled (Usually in our Lua macros, this is the Global Script Activation key). Also, check if there is already a weapon activated; you will see this information in the history located at the bottom of the Lua Console window where you imported the script.
Some anti-cheat software blocks all GHUB emulated inputs, preventing the operation of LUA scripts that control the mouse, such as the FACEIT anti-cheat. On GC, this issue can be bypassed by following a secure step-by-step guide provided in the tutorial room 📌 in our official Discord group. If Logitech G HUB stops running your Lua scripts after you open certain games, and the problem persists even after restarting your PC, there is a simple trick to solve this. Just delete the script profile, import any other code and run it, and then immediately switch back to the script you were using. This quick switch forces the software to update and makes the macros work normally again right away.
Update GHUB to the latest available version by downloading it from the official website or updating through the application itself (Go to Menu > Settings > Check for Updates).Change your mouse to a different USB port or, if your mouse is wireless, plug the receiver into another port.
Verify the authenticity of your mouse! There are many counterfeits of certain Logitech mouse models, such as the G304. Always buy from official resellers to ensure that the hardware supports the software features. If you are certain that your device is original, confirm that the installed version of GHUB is fully compatible with your mouse model and always keep the software updated to the latest version to prevent operational failures.
